Trips to Shopping Centres!
4 Apr to Raffles City - On a rainy saturday, we decided to do a quick round of shopping for JY's toys and stock up some snacks. Lil JY is such a grouch in the car, refusing to be buckled into the seat & manage to let us after grumbling a bit & with me, jingling a toy in front of her.....
We finally make use of the pram! & lil JY got comfy inside after fussing a bit. Happy to keep JY occupied with the Lamaze Firefly, WJ hooked it to the pram so we can shop in peace while she entertained herself with the dangling toy. We happily shopped...Just when i thought she was comfy & my arms full of with bags, she started to frown and grumble, head turning impatiently from side to side. I panicked cos WJ went off at a book section inaccessible by pram and i have no hands to pick her up from the pram without dropping the bags. I took off the Firefly & open up the hood and suddenly she saw me & the new environment, she smiled & grinned happily, kicking & waving her limbs around...phew...with that, she amused herself for the next 40mins while we finished up our spot of shopping and headed home.
Lil JY was so tired at the end of the day that she din care to grumble as usual, dropping off to dreamland so easily, we were caught off-guard. I vow that in future, i will tire her out more often and exert her energy so have an easier bed-time!
8 Apr, Takashimaya - We made another trip and we shopped for close to 5hrs! not sure how come i shop more when i hv a baby in tow than when i'm more mobile, weird....We bought books, more toys & clothes (on sale) for JY...and i went Sephora to get my bareMinerals, cant wait to try them! And discovered Taka has VERY decent nursery room, spacious & clean...i'm impressed. And with a baby in tow, people also got more chatty with us and i found myself cheerfully talking back to them.

9 Apr - Another trip to Jacob Ballas, a bit too early for JY to learn anything lar but i wanted to visit it to see what it's all about. WJ & me decide it to be too hot, so a quick tour round and off we scoot off to Tanglin Mall! (p.s The nursery room is nothing to hoot about.........)
