Mani & Pedi
Did my first serious manicure & pedicure, it's actually done in 2 sessions...first session was the toenails & all the scrubbing & clipping of cuticles..quite therepeutic & addictive, man..!!then i was late for my wedding dnr, so i postponed the nails to 2 days later...that's when the obstacles started..1. how to get my wallet out from my bag without the nails coming in contact with the bag zippers and whatever is in my bag
2. where to place my hands and fingers ( then i end up extending my fingers straight like vampire
3. how to hold spoon & fork to eat my dinner (i eat like primary school kid learning how to hold utensils)
4. take my keys to open/close my house lock (not easy ok, using only my thumb & index finger to hold & turn the key gently)
5. how to type the keyboard & not 'destroy' my nails by being so rough
ALL THIS ACTIONS while keep reminding myself 'TO BE GENTLE BE GENTLE'...v tiring..
then i remembered why i didnt do manicure after my first try..cos i find it too troublesome to be gentle with hands & fingers.like..how can a manicure last longer if i have to wash my clothes, wash dishes, open cans, do housechores...how??
despite all my efforts, my nails bore the marks of scratches & signs of fading at the edges, after only..2 days..
