What has Jingyi been up to?
JY has grown a bit since her weight was stagnant at 6.5kg since 6mths. Since then, she has been downing 200 - 250ml for 3 milk feeds and has a big bowl of cereal for breakfast as well as porridge for lunch and dinner. Of course, she has her off-days when she refused her cereal/porridge or the occasional milk. She's more or less quite stabilised in her night sleep, dozing off between 730 - 830pm, 7pm if she's super tired or din nap as much in the day. The best part is, she manages to sleep through at LAST! and wakes up for her morning milk at 630/7am, sometimes at 430am or so, which i don't really mind, after all that i went through in the first 6mths, this is a piece of cake!
In the morning, she'll almost wake up earlier than i do, most of the time, waking up with a smile or clambering up at the cot rail & try to wake me up by calling out to me, then grinned at me from her cot.
She loves her bath and get so excited at the sight of the bathwater and can't wait to get in and refuse to get out, crying EVERY time we dry/lotion/diaper cream/put diaper/change her and it doesn't help that she's constantly struggling to oppose our actions. it's a workout on its own.
Then it's sending off the working folks....it's a daily routine never to be missed as we love to see her perky smiles & happy face.
sometimes she waved goodbye from our unit,

sometimes she takes the elevator ride with us, walking the short pathway with us.

Recently, she took a liking to 'chasing' birds, she'll get all excited when she sees birds on the ground and chuckled so loudly when my mum would carry her & chase after the birds at the void deck or grass patch, attracting stares and amusement from public again...which she's so oblivious to.
