Shifting Office

It's getting harder to keep regular updates on blog, evenings are a whirl of activities with coming back, bath, bag milk, feed JY, eat dinner, put to sleep...i sometimes were so exhausted i sleep at 9pm.

In any case, our organisation have shifted to a new office space and started operation at Redhill so our last day at OMB was last Friday. Office was a huge mess with bags and bags of junk and files and papers blocking every passageway and tons of boxes. I sort of missed the "old" office cos

1) it was a new & nice building, strategically sandwiched between the current (shenton way) & upcoming financial district (downtown marina) hubs.
2) it's aircon all the way from the mrt to office
3) accessible to all amenities (bank, eateries be it organic, muslim, etc, cafes, shops)
4) lovely view of the cityscape
5) it was designed by my sister!

I have witness quite a number of weird encounters like, my first sighting of a water spout (previous blog in Oct/ Nov 2006 i think), my first earthquake tremor (the Sumatra big quake in 07 i think), every pre-NDP works at National Stadium & floating platform, the completion of Singapore Flyer.

My view everyday when i walked to the pantry, at times i carted my laptop and plonked down at the table to work. There used to be Neptune Theatre & Restaurant & rustic Collyer Quay... now all torn down to make way for commercial owners generating more money...
My view everyday at my workdesk..at first it was a vast empty field, now the MBS is halfway through....pity i can't see it receiving it's first guests...
