6 & 7 Day - Malacca
We are on the last leg of the trip ~ Malacca! A pit-stop along the highway brings us to A&W!We stayed over at Hotel Puri where the hotel lobby & surroundings are atmospheric, but the rooms are such a BIG disappointment! the hotel front lobby, breakfast patio, corridors are so rustic and homely. the back living hall still have swallows building their nests there, flying around the hall, streets & all over malacca. the owner believes that this is their home and didn't try to extricate them away.
see the swallows perched in their nests
We managed to at last take some family shots together.

Little JY has rosy rosy cheeks after much walking around under the sun.... she loves a shower bath, often looking up towards the showerhead and getting sprayful of water in her face.
We had dinner at Bibik Neo which serves delicious nonya food in their authentic nonya restaurant...
Jesper had a chance to feed JY her dinner while i gobbled up the delicious ayam ponteh, shrimp paste omelette, chap chye, itek sioh, chendol & gula melaka. YUMMY.....
We also went to Malacca's Peranakan Museum to take a look and its as grand as Penang's one with their enormous collection of cutleries set, jewelleries and such. Ironically, we are left with the Singapore's Peranakan Museum to complete the tour. was quite impressed with their amass of wealth, they are somewhat equivalent to the local millionaires of that era.
Wenjun lugged JY around most of the time and she look so adorable with her limbs hanging at her sides. While WJ carried her one afternoon, an indian man approached WJ and told JY how cute she is and ask WJ "If you don't want her, you can give her to me" Gosh, then i remembered how anxious my mum was before going to Malaysia that she told me to hold on tight to her and never let someone else carry her lest they ran away with her.
We also had Malacca's famous chicken rice balls for lunch before departing for home.
Little Monkey is constantly climbing at every meal table.
Never was i so glad to reach Singapore after a trip. Me & WJ booked ourselves for a massage everyday over the weekend.
