Slacker Bride

Have no idea do i belong to just a handful of the girls here in Singapore...cos i was simply too relax and can't be bothered about my wedding. If given a choice, i wld have chose to ROMed (eh, at least at a nice plc instead of ROM) & have small wedding celebrations with family, and zoom, out of country for a while.

But then, parents being parents are VERY unpredictable.....
1. my wedding tables expanded
2. end up having to focus a lot of energy on parents' "wants", although i must say both set of parents are quite easy on us, as horror stories from friends make ours look like saints....
3. threw a few spanners, hammer, nails into our prep

I took a few days off frm work to relaz, be a 'glowing bride'...eh...i was lazing most of the time, the relax part is fulfilled... often have to WILL myself to do something (pack bag/ring pillow/album/guest book..., put mask, call photographer/make-up artist, do table plans, email who who & what what)

Then, i suppose the most difficult part is that for 1 whole day, i hv to accomm my relatives frm m'sia (fetch them frm airport, bring them for lch/dnr, serve them at home, etc), slept at close to 1am every night! not glowing..........

hm..the most enjoyable part of the wedding prep is buy shoes, flip magazines see hair, see make-up, see wedding gowns....hmm.....that's about it...the others are pure logistics...and maybe its the event management part of me that is taking over
