Amidst the hurry & flurry

Seriously i was rather exhausted having to deal with the never-ending workload & on top of that the Raleigh project activities, and the supposedly 'impending ROM'...

Why 'supposedly' cos we r postponing it to Feb next year!!...maybe it's a blessing in disguise, i doubt i can pull this off without looking like a tired & haggard bride. I remembered it was during the recce trip to Vietnam that my dear WJ dropped the subject of us postponing our ROM next year, I really blew my top off over the phone (ok la, i felt damn guilty abt it later). Reason: his parents went to pray & their lots (qian1) indicate that 2007--> bad yr for us to get married. So, we have to face the 7% gst hike & the 2008 auspicious year thingy...sigh

Tho, i must say he did his homework pretty well as an excited groom, buying ALL types of bridal magazines he can get his hands on (like we were at Borders & he goes 'hey, this year *magazine name* issue is out, let's buy it!and *magazine name* next issue is coming up). i tink we have easily 6 in our collections! and majority bought by him..AND not to say, he visited the infamous bridal forum online and told me abt this & that and often goes 'yah, i saw it on the forum'..and yours truly, went to take a look once, with just a few glances at a few threads.....frankly, wat the hell is there to say about hair accessories or styles that requires 50 replies to the topic?! or which bridal shop to avoid because they din give 10 more photos...argh. looks like i'm really dreading the preparation part.

The debate to do ROM or Dinner together or separate is now ON.....oh, guess who is my solemniser? no prizes for getting it right! ;>

At last, i have my life back

For those who were wondering where the hell i was...i was hard at work for the past 2 months, nearly all my weekday nights & weekends are all not spared....Think my work gotta be like dat for the next few mths, can't even plan for a good holiday break. Luckily, the colleagues got closer with several bonding sessions, which i enjoyed so far...so work is more bearable.. :D

Today, in office, we witnessed something exciting!
It started out as a slim dark whirl,,,slowly moving towards east coast, getting bigger but the base of the water sprout gets wider & appeared as a cloud of rain
yah, we stopped work for a while to take picture & ogle at this scene for close to 15 mins

Little Jodi

I was with WJ in the morning for his soccer match at Pasir Ris but so decided to visit hungry hippo & her darling little Jodi.
This little girl is so adorable, she munched almost everything that she can put her hands on..her cutesy hands (yah, both of them at one time), sucked her mummy's fingers, the toy giraffe's head was in her mouth, the hanky, towel, etc.... lucky for me, she was in a joyous mood, so she smiled non-stop & was easily amused by everything.

And Teresa's wedding was held at the so atmospheric chijmes hall. For any wedding dnrs next time, dun sit opp Aik Teng cos with she amused herself by taking a lot of pictures of me & mdm chua. so we ended up being her subjects in more than 20 photos i tink, some v silly ones she refused to let us see.. the only one is....


so nice right?!?!!
